The Buffalo Bills Added Insult to Injury With a Ruthless Post-Game Jab Directed at Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills are not winning. After being blown out by the Miami Dolphins, the Bills decided to take a shot at their opponents during their post-game press conference.

In more ways than one, the Buffalo Bills thrashed the Miami Dolphins in their Week 2 AFC East clash.

The Bills and Dolphins met for the first time this season, and there was a lot of anticipation for the game. Miami had just defeated Mac Jones and the New England Patriots in Week 1 with a dominant performance. The Buffalo Bills were hoping to bounce back after an abysmal season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After ambitious offseasons, both Buffalo and Miami are aiming to compete for a playoff berth. These divisional games are very important to both clubs.

The Miami Dolphins were blown out by the Buffalo Bills, who also lost their quarterback.

To put it simply, the Dolphins seemed utterly outmatched against the Bills in Week 2. Buffalo cruised to a 35-0 victory, easily dominating the pace throughout the game.

Allen passed for 179 yards and two touchdowns, while Devin Singletary rushed for 82 yards on 13 attempts. The Bills have a fascinating and encouraging victory on their hands, one that should put them back on pace to retain their AFC East title.

On the other hand, the Dolphins’ Week 2 performance was a total catastrophe. They were not only thrashed at home, but they also lost their main quarterback due to a rib injury. After taking a pounding in the pocket, Tua Tagovailoa had to be carried off the field.

Tagovailoa exited the game and never returned. It’s being diagnosed as bruised ribs, according to reports (which is actually good news for Dolphins fans).

Following the Bills’ dominance, the social media crew wasted no time attacking the Dolphins’ support base.

The Bills were able to stir up their division opponent one more time before turning their focus to Week 3 by making fun of the fact that a large number of Bills supporters attended the game in South Florida. For what it’s worth, when the score became more lopsided, it began to feel like a home game for Buffalo.

The Bills and their “Bills Mafia” support group had clearly owned the day.

What does the future hold for the Miami Dolphins?

The Dolphins are eager to reduce the gap between themselves and the Buffalo Bills. However, they’ve had virtually no success thus far.

Last season, the Dolphins lost both of their encounters with the Bills, including a humiliating 56-26 loss to end the regular season. In terms of the AFC East “rivalry,” it’s a lopsided affair.

The Dolphins are already dealing with a quarterback shortage in the future. Despite the victory, Tagovailoa didn’t seem especially spectacular in Week 1, and his bruised rib diagnosis may mean a stay on injured reserve. Should Tagovailoa miss time, the Dolphins will likely turn to experienced quarterback Jacoby Brissett, but the ever-looming Deshaun Watson issue remains.

I wouldn’t rule out a midseason blockbuster deal for Watson if the Dolphins lose confidence in Tagovailoa and his ability to remain healthy.

Regardless, the Dolphins’ hopes of dethroning the Bills will have to be put on hold for the time being. Buffalo still has a chance to win the division.
