While Eddie Brown pursued his football ambitions, Adrianne Moss, Brown’s mother, was left to raise her son alongside his younger brother on her own. While being a young mother with two children on her own had numerous challenges, the household’s most notable difficulties began after Moss remarried, at least according to Brown’s recollections.
Brown could not get along with his new stepfather, according to Heavy, and as a result, he became homeless at the age of 16. “My father was gone, my mother had another spouse, and their connection with me was strained. Brown remembers scraping by as a teenager. “I had to live with teammates and sort of create a way for myself,” he says.
Antonio Brown’s family now is defined by his mended ties with his parents.

Despite his rocky start, Antonio Brown seems to have patched up his ties with both of his parents. Brown finally gave in and started chatting after first rejecting his father’s efforts to reconcile. The two have had their share of public spats and disputes, but they’ve also stood by each other’s sides to offer support through difficult times. When Antonio’s jersey was retired, he showed up to his father’s ceremony.
Meanwhile, Antonio Brown has said that he has no grudges towards his mother. “I believe we all go through things for a purpose, and I don’t blame anybody because God was in charge of my life and had a plan for me,” the football player said.
While Antonio Brown’s childhood was far from idyllic, it did provide him with valuable lessons in persistence and dedication to his craft.
